The mission of Skyline Baptist Church is to glorify God by building a
Christ-centered, Biblically-based, Family-oriented, Dynamic-fellowship,
with a heart for reaching the bay area and the world for Christ.
Christ Centered Jesus Christ is the one and only Son of the Living God, and Savior to all who believe in Him. Therefore, we commit ourselves to praising and pleasing Him in everything we say and do.
Biblically Based We believe the Bible to be our supreme authority for everything we do. Therefore, we commit ourselves to teach systematically through books of the Bible.
Family Oriented We believe God established the home as an important priority. Therefore, we commit to restoring, building and equipping families after God’s pattern.
Dynamic Fellowship The New Testament church reached over cultural boundaries. Therefore, we commit ourselves, within Biblical guidelines, to adapt, change or add whatever is needed to reach our community for Christ.
We envision a body of transformed believers,
fully committed to impacting their world for Jesus Christ.
